U-MAKE 2013 is March 1st - 3rd (First weekend of March!) at the Lorado Taft Field Campus, Oregon, IL
Located just outside the city of Oregon, IL Named after Lorado Taft, the 141 acre campus has become Northern Illinois University's outdoor education and conference center. For more information see www.niu.edu/taft
Teachers and projects...
- Simon Crafts - 2011 and 2012 AKA Grand National Champion kite maker will present an original single line kite.
- Barbara Meyer - Former AKA President, Award winning kite maker with kite designs marketed worldwide will present a cellular kite.
- Donna Schenk - Donna has taught at U-MAKE in the past. She will be teaching a couple of beginner kites.
- Charm Lindner - Charm has taught many kite programs for parks, schools, local organizations and more. She will be teaching a couple of no sew kites.
- Linda Larkey - Part of Team Larkey. Linda will be presenting two banner classes.
- Donna Huchins - Donna will be teaching a Miniature Kite class.

U-MAKE 2013 was great! Thank you to all our instructors, event organizers, the Lorado Taft staff and to all of you that registered and came and made our first U-MAKE at Lorado Taft a success.
