This No-Sew Project is the Russ Mozier version of the Brooks Leffler Box Kite. It is a 3-foot Box Kite. Each cell is 12” tall and 13-1/2” wide.

The Brooks Leffler version uses a trash bag that is cut to make two circular cells. The Russ Mozier version uses Table Covers from the Dollar Store. The table covers will already be cut to rectangles that are 54” inches by 12”.

Tools Needed: The truth is, the workshop can be taken without any tools. The vinyl tubing will already be cut and punched to save workshop time. A quilting ruler (or straightedge), rotary cutter and an 18 x 24 cutting mat will really help participants cut the 16 pieces of packing tape required to make the kite. There will be mats & cutters provided. Having your own will make things faster.

KIT ORDER CUT OFF: by 01/04/2020 Extra kits available to any current U-MAKE Registrant
