Charm has built and flown kites of all types and sizes, but especially loves making small, unusual kites (thanks to Charlie Sotich). The miniature Cody is a particular favorite.

Charm states "When I retired my husband worried I would get bored so he signed me up for a watercolor and drawing class. I really took to drawing and then right into colored pencils. I enjoy watercolor sumi-e painting, but my first love is colored pencil. I have taken many awards for my drawings in numerous shows including "The St. Louis Artist Guild", the International Colored Pencil Society of America and the Best in Show 2009 at Jefferson County Art Guild with watercolored kite "Taku Kichie-A Japanese Lady"."
