Mitch Cordover

I’ve been flying for decades and making kites since the early 2000’s. I’ve won or placed in the AKA Kite Making competition in a number of categories for both sew and no-sew kites. My no-sew fighter took first place in 2023 and in 2024, to my AMAZEMENT, I took first place in Rokkaku Group for a sewn kite!  

I love teaching and I’ve stopped counting the number of  kite workshops I’ve enjoyed leading at AKA Conventions, UMAKE, and other venues.

I’m forever looking for more interesting techniques and materials.

Previous classes:   U-MAKE and at AKA Grand Nationals.  Also plenty of experience teaching as a Med School Professor and classes for schools, scouts, town fairs and art stores!
