ART/COLOR CHOICE:  Students choose custom colors for each panel of the Whisper.   Instructor will email each student for color selection after enrollment.

Class Description: The Whisper Quad is a variant of the Hadzicki-wing quad refined for smooth, precise flight. This design introduces curves to the trailing edge, reducing drag and stabilizing reverse flight. The construction utilizes 3D printed fittings and end caps, removing snag points by integrating bungee and bridle attachment.  Tuned to make the most of the unique sail geometry, the Whisper's bridle is constructed differently from a standard quad bridle. Each kit will include a completed bridle, though if time permits students will learn to tie their own.     

This kite won 2nd place in the Sport Kite Category at the 2025 AKA National Convention and garnered positive feedback from master-level fliers including Brett Marchel and Jessie Kapsten.

The weekend class (all 5 sessions) will cover precision assembling panels with curved seams, quad leading edge techniques, and using custom 3D printed fittings.
