Jess Lamp is a lifelong kite builder and flyer whose expertise blends traditional craftsmanship with innovative engineering. Jess has a passion for the fabric and materials blending high quality with artistic design elements. Deeply embedded in the custom kite-building community, Lamp has been recognized by the AKA for the following;

2009 – Top Finisher (Soft Kites): Placed top of his division in the Kite-making category for his “Soft9” design.
2013 – 3rd Place (Cellular/Box Kites): Awarded for his custom build named Infinity. Also recognized with a special award for “Innovative Kite” for this design.
2014 – 3rd Place (Stunt/Sport Kites category): Awarded for his high-performance sport kite build, the SS V.2
2014 – 4th place (Fighter Kites): Awarded for his maneuverable creation called Gentle Breeze.
