Mike has been involved in kiting for many years flying single, dual and, since joining the Illinois Kite Enthusiasts, quad line kites. He enjoys all aspects of kiting, especially traveling to kiting events across the country. 

Mike is a founding member of Team No Knots, a Quad-Line Kite Team that performs choregraphed routines to music at events around the world.

Mike is also owner/operator of Route 66 Kites in Pontiac, IL.

Route 66 Kites and the Stephenson Family also sponsors a Kite Festival in Pontiac, IL---The Route 66 Kite Festival held in September.
