Ron Ortega is out of Vancouver, WA and has been making kites since 2013 when he went to his first kite making retreat. Ron said he had made a few throughout his life but whether they flew or not was hit or miss. A bit of motivation and a few retreats and he has been able to adapt techniques for sharing with fellow kite makers.

Now Ron has been presenting great classes at retreats like Oregon Kitemakers Retreat (OKR) and Fort Worden Kitemakers Conference for years.
