This will be the kite you launch while you're setting up all your other stuff, and then leave it alone and it'll fly all day. An easy build for a lot of kite!

Students will bring a completed 60”x60” sail to the class. We’ll focus on turning the sail into a finished kite, adding edge binding, spar sleeves, pockets, tail attachment points, reinforcements, spars, and bridles. For the bow spar Phil will introduce a unique “plug in” method of attachment. We’ll also learn to make fuzzy tails and begin the process of making the kite’s three tails.

Supplies Needed: Basic sewing supplies, working sewing machine.
