Paul has been building and flying kites over the past 20 years.  His handcrafted kites have received awards at the Smithsonian Kite Festival and the American Kitefliers Association nationals.  He enjoys flying kites, giving presentations and teaching kite making to adults and kids who delight in the magic of building and flying their own creations.  He is a past chair of the AKA’s Kite Art Committee and a former regional director of that organization.  He also hangs out with members of Midwest area kite clubs, including his home state club, the Wisconsin Kiters.
