I've been involved in kiting for nearly 5 years, outside of occasionally flying small kites in my youth or when my daughters were little. 

When it came to kiting as a hobby, I jumped in feet first after coming across a local club fly. My kite collection quickly grew and now includes numerous unique and whimsical kites, banners, and ground displays.I've flown throughout the Midwest in all types of climates, but my favorite places are coastal beaches, such as Long Beach Island, NJ; Long Beach, MS; or near my home on the shores of Lake Michigan. Besides my love for flying kites, I truly enjoy the camaraderie and the people I meet.
