Kit will include solutions for tips and bottoms of banner poles in varying sizes.   

A limited number of Extra Kits will be available for 2025 U-MAKE Participants

Banners are a key element of ground displays. We will discuss the care of telescoping banner poles and a few tricks to make banner set up easier.

Have you broken a tip? it can be repaired.

Always losing the tops and having to remove the bottom rings?   I will offer solutions. 

We will also cover a way to keep pole tips from going through your banner.  And how to avoid having spinners or kites flying from poles from twisting in the wind and causing the line to twist up. 

Suggestions about stakes will be covered in different types of fields. 

Kit will include some samples of my solutions for making banner setup easier. 

Kit will be for 13 foot and 16–19-foot poles.

Bring non-fabric scissors.

Mary Pat displays in a variety of flying fields, and her solutions work on all types.  In addition, Mary Pat reports that her banners pick up VERY LITTLE SAND when displayed on beaches, making her bottom banner devices the BEST!

Kiters that use telescoping banner poles on sand surfaces will tell you that sand in the joints of poles is one of the quickest ways to ruin a pole.
